It makes links and publishes web pages, available at http://data.bnf.fr, with already about 750.000 linked resources. All the raw data is also displayed in \\{RDF\\} and available with an open licence. The presentation will explain the importance of authority files and identifiers to build this kind of service, an give a first feedback on how users have been reacting to it: what kind of content is being used.}, url = {http://leo.cineca.it/index.php/jlis/article/viewFile/5509/7919}, } @inbook{des_catalogues_aux_75fd, title = {Des catalogues aux m\'etadonn\'ees : la biblioth\`eque vers le web s\'emantique}, author = {Wenz, Romain}, year = {2013}, isbn = {978-2-7654-1409-4}, pages = {161-171}, address = {Paris}, publisher = {\'Ed. du Cercle de la librairie}, series = {Biblioth\`eques en France, 1998-2013}, } @inbook{publishing_bibliographic_records_b83a, title = {Publishing Bibliographic Records on the Web of Data: Opportunities for the BnF (French National Library)}, author = {Simon, Agn\`es and Wenz, Romain and Michel, Vincent and Di Mascio, Adrien}, year = {2013}, isbn = {9783642382871}, number = {7882}, pages = {563-577}, publisher = {Springer}, series = {The Semantic Web: Semantics and Big Data - 10th International Conference, \\{ESWC\\} 2013, Proceedings}, volume = {Lecture Notes in Computer Science}, doi = {10.1007/978-3-642-38288-8-38}, abstract = {Linked open data tools have been implemented through data.bnf.fr, a project which aims at making the BnF data more useful on theWeb. data.bnf.fr gathers data automatically from different databases on pages about authors, works and themes. Online since July 2011, it is still under development and has feedbacks from several users, already. First the article will present the issues linked to our data and stress the importance of useful links and of persistency for archival purposes. We will discuss our solution and methodology, showing their strengths and weaknesses, to create new services for the library. An insight on the ontology and vocabularies will be given, with a “business” view of the interaction between rich \\{RDF\\} ontologies and light \\{HTML\\} embedded data such as schema.org. The broader question of Libraries on the Semantic Web will be addressed so as to help specify similar projects.}, url = {http://eswc-conferences.org/sites/default/files/papers2013/simon.pdf}, } @article{des_outils_automatiques_4cd3, title = {Des outils automatiques pour le signalement en biblioth\`eque}, author = {Wenz, Romain and Simon, Agn\`es}, year = {2012}, number = {5}, number = {5}, pages = {39–43}, journal = {Bulletin des Biblioth\`eques de France}, volume = {57}, url = {http://bbf.enssib.fr/consulter/bbf-2012-05-0039-008.pdf}, } @article{data_bnf_fr_2bc6, title = {Data.bnf.fr : au-del\`a des silos}, author = {Wenz, Romain}, year = {2011}, number = {n$^{\circ}$ 4}, pages = {- 50}, journal = {Documentaliste-Sciences de l'information}, volume = {vol. 48}, }
